Hello TSS readers, and welcome to the start of a new week! As always, we have lots of fresh content coming up for you all, so we hope you enjoy what we have planned for you this week. Be sure to subscribe to our email list to receive notifications about when new content is being published!

For tomorrow, Anthony will be reviewing the second season of Beastars. Beastars is an anime adapted from the manga of the same name, and it has gained notoriety and praise for its depiction of a society of anthropomorphic animals that struggle with the persistent societal issue of carnivores pitted against herbivores. Think Zootopia, but definitely weirder.

On Wednesday, Sorenya will be covering Netflix’s I Am Not Okay With This. Sydney is a typical high schooler, one who blends in and is angry and sad all the time, has family drama, and also has… superpowers. Well, that’s not typical. This review will look at how Sydney navigates her dreadful social life, and manages her newfound superpowers at the same time.

For Thursday, Courtney is reviewing The Great Escapists, a series from Amazon Prime. In The Great Escapists, Tory Belleci and Richard Hammond must engineer their way off of a desert island. But can they engineer a watchable piece of television while they’re at it? (My verdict is no.)

Finally, I will be writing the Friday analytical for this week. My piece will analyze Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon, a film that was praised for adding a South Asian princess to the Disney character mix, but was also riddled with criticism regarding appropriate representation and character design. If the way Sisu the dragon looked didn’t quite sit right with you, then this is the piece for you.

Thanks for tuning in!
