On Tuesday, we are welcoming back Editor Benjamin Rose as a guest writer. He will be following up on his analytical piece about the pilot episode for Disney Plus’ Loki, this time writing a review for the show as a whole. Loki is a strong but uneven show, weighed down by MCU melodrama. Check in Tuesday to find out Benjamin’s thoughts on the series.
For Wednesday, Courtney is reviewing the newly dropped What If…?, another fresh Disney Plus addition. The Marvel content never seems to end! Episode One of What If…?, featuring Agent Carter, sticks close to the events of Captain America but shows solid first steps for Marvel’s new animated series.
On Thursday, Sorenya will be covering Netflix’s Hit & Run. The new Israeli action series follow Segev, a tour guide, as he tries to solve the murder of his girlfriend Danielle who was involved in a hit and run accident. On this journey, he finds out that his girlfriend wasn’t as innocent as she claimed. This review will look at how deception and lies can turn someone’s life upside down.
For this week’s Friday analytical, Anthony will be revisiting Castlevania to better understand how we as fans can interact with media that some may consider controversial due to the creators’ personal lives and beliefs and the content of the show itself.
Thanks for reading!
